This past weekend, athlete Gwen Berry made headlines during the Olympic qualifiers. However, what captured attention was not her third-rate athletic ability, but rather her childish and disrespectful behavior during the National Anthem. According to Berry, “The anthem doesn’t speak for me. It never has.” Marxists do not accept absolute moral law, so virtues like “freedom” and “bravery” are not valued. 

In an effort to be “woke,” Berry is actually exposing her cosmic ignorance. She turned her back on the flag that has been proudly carried by Americans (of all colors), in conflicts won by blood and true sacrifice.

Berry fights “systemic racism,” so she sees herself as a victim of the system because of the color of her skin.

No wonder she placed third, victims don’t excel.
